Presidents Cup
« on: November 15, 2011, 11:09:02 AM »
The Presidents cup tees off in Melbourne on Thursday...anyone local going along to cheer our guys on or to have a look at Tiger and the rest of the seppos?
If the crowds and the standard of play at the Aus open last week are anything to go it should be a absolute ball tearer...pardon the pun.
I would love to be there but can't get down there..... !!!
I wonder if the big BO..... pres obama wil pop in and say gday

I live near enough to the sandbelt courses and have been lucky enough to play them all.  I can't get into following a group around on a golf course, you get to see much more on tv

Some of the guys from work (Drummond Golf) are going. I guess I could too if they had any spare tickets, but I am just not that into it.

I am planning to get down and play the some sand belt courses soon, they are some of thhe best tracks in the world.
Yeah I'm not big on following golfers on course either...but I will make an exception for Tiger or John Daly...that guy cracks me up.

I don't mind golf, just not that into it that I would bother going to the President's Cup.

My role is in IT.

The rest of the people there are hugely into golf, well all the males anyway!
