CFTBL Keeps Blowing a Fuse

Hi All,
I have a Creature from the Black Lagoon Pinball that keeps blowing the F114 (+18V Lamp Matrix) 8A fuse.
I have not turned the machine on for a couple of months and the 'test mode' tells me to 'check Fuses F114 and F115'.
F115 is fine but 114 continues to blow. It glows red and melts.
The pinny will not start.
Can someone please advise where I should start looking? I am at a loss.
Thanks for any help.
Regards

I quick google shows that likely culprit is one of the bridge rectifiers , these are cheap and easy to replace as a possible starting point , but as I don't actually own a DMD pin I'll leave it to others to comment

Also, another likely cause is a short somewhere between 12V and Ground

A quick check is to remove the plugs for the lamps which is in the lower right hand corner.
Replace the fuse and if it still blows the problem lies on the board if it doesnt blow you have an issue on the playfield

I had a problem (problems minor starting issues but mostly GI) with my (CFTBL) and it was a short from a coil but believed to be a bridge rectifier - strange one that had me stumped for a while but worth mentioning to at least aid at reducing where it could be. With mine when you pulled the playfield out of the cabinet - the right hand side coil ball eject from the tunnel ramp up onto the playfield was so close but depended on the angle you pulled it out to the ball shooter rod. At some stage it the coils wires must have snagged on to the shooter rod a few times dislodging a wire (still connected but stretched out) from the coil which then created a short but not obvious.
A hard one to identify and for some reason caused various issues.
Could be a long shot but worth a look..., if anything one to store in the memory banks for the future.

Had a problem like this with my fishtales. Replaced the line filter and have not blown a fuse since. You can pick up any old line filter for about $10

Hi,
I don't know what a line filter actually is. Can you please describe it?
Thanks
