Picked up this machine a few days ago (Thanks Jason and Libby!) and been slowly sorting a couple of the remaining gremlins.
Most urgent was the lower right flipper which needed some attention.
Fitted new EOS switch which made the flipper like new again.
Also fitted the second switch for the lane change feature, which didn't work at first.
Quick check revealed that the diode for this switch was "open" and after replacement is also now working well.
The only other major problem with the machine was that the factory flouro behind the translite had been replaced by a string of screw in bulbs which were all blown.
I really wanted to see that backbox lit up, so fitted a complete new flouro (with some minor modifications!)
I guess my solution is a bit of hack but it seems to work really well.
I did end up removing the black contact from the cabinet, which came off nice and easy.
