Hey Guys got a bit of a strange one here,
Ive finally powered up the F14 and mostly good,
except some coils not firing,quick check of the fuses one in the Backbox blown.
Change Fuse and run thru coil test,
once the Rescue kickback fires it locks on and blows the fuse..Again
Seems a bit strange as its not locked on permanently only Locks once its fired..
Its driven off the snubber/multiplex relay board underneath which seems to still pulse merrily away still after the fuse is blown,
replaced the diodes on this board as precaution,
Tip transistors and drivers seem to test and function ok if the coils disconnected ..
Also triggers ok by grounding the lug of the Q15 Tip transistor,possibly furthur upstream 7408 or PIA?
anybody struck this Symptom on a Sys11?
