Yes... possible faulty noise/ripple cap on the board... also make sure you have solid grounding. I always solder extra ground from the board ground and screw to the true ground on the machine...ie earth braid etc
Speaker grounded ?Do you have a spare SB-300 sound board ? Could be one of the caps on the board, and swapping the board with a spare might isolate the issue.
Fixed. Broken SB cable .One pin, Looks like the factory were rough when putting the cable together and cracked the plastic connector housing and it finally let go after many hours of shaking. Thanks for the tips
