Pinbot Chest lamp issue
« on: April 24, 2012, 07:12:14 PM »
Hi gang!

My pinbot has 2 lamps not working on the chest board.  1 yellow and 1 blue.  I have swapped lamp holders, and checked for continuity, and it looks all good.  Searched high and low for some info.  No luck.  Any ideas?

Check the diode associated with each non working lamp.

Also check the lamp row/column connectors at cpu board (1J6 and 1J7).

Thanks for the advice mate!!  Seems at least one diode is no good.  I'll get onto it.

Also, the damn thing is popping the solenoid fuse.  I don't have any 4amp ones, so I have been using 3amp ones.  No good!

Cheers

Yeah, the 3 amp ones I have been using are slow blow.  I'll grab some 4's tomorrow
