Stargate ball shooter

Hi I have a problem with Stargate ball shooter.Coil was burnt out so I finally changed it but the fuse keeps blowing.Fuse F26.When I turn on the machine the shooter activates and stays on till the fuse blows.I put the wires back the same way.What is the next test?Any help much appreciated.Hanging out for a game  been out of action 2 weeks.

Probably the transistor on your driver board that drives the coil.
You will need to get out the schematics and find out which one it is, test it with your multimeter to confirm.
