TFTC Slingshot Stuck On??? Arrrrgh!!!
« on: May 19, 2012, 02:36:19 PM »
Hi All

After some great advice a few weeks ago I got my flipper issues sorted on my newly purchased TFTC.

I've gone in for a quick game today to find my Right Slingshot (kicker??) is always on.
It happens as soon as the machine is powered on - doesn't have to be in a game.

Needless to say the coil was a little warm when I had a quick look around.

Any advice is really appreciated!!!
Scott

If you bought it from a dealer, the game is still subject to warranty - check this first ?

unfortunately no.

I've bought it off a friend who bought it from one of the well know Brissy based dealers.

I've got to send a board from my flash to John at all pinball.
I assume he'd handle this type of thing also??

bend the metal contacts back a bit on top of the playfield where the slingshot contacts are.

an easy fix if its just a small adjustment.
