Funhouse led GI issue

I have LEDs in my fh for sometime now but I just noticed tonight that one GI led Nader the step ramp flickers very quickly. I have to same led on other GI locations and they do not flicker like this. Under the GI test when they are on low say 1 or 2 it doesn't seem to flicker very much but once the intensity is increased it goes crazy.

Is this due to a faulty led or bad socket or something else?

more than likely it's the led.

Try a different led in the same position and see if it happens again.

i have seen led's do all sorts of weird things when they are being dimmed in the G.I circuits. probably would be better using the leds that are made for A.C. but i havent seen those led's dimmed yet so i don't know what they would do

Swap in the standard incandescent lamps to rule out board / socket / LEDs issue.

Or maybe try a good led I have already on the game.  doh it's obvious when you take the time to think about it hey guys.

Led stopped flickering when I took out the socket but soon after did it again. Doesn't do it with a globe so conclusion is dicky led

Guess what, now I have two flickering LEDs. Not sure if they were doing that before scraping the last problem led. Maybe it's more sinister but haven't checked to see if they are on the same string or whether the initial offender is causing it as I put it on one of the coin inserts to see if it still flickered and it does

Is it a 555 LED ? You might need to bend the legs (on the LED) so they make a better contact.

#47 LED - Then it could be faulty. Multiple faulty LEDs could indicate a bad batch perhaps ?

Should have mentioned they are #47's. What I think may be a good idea is to put one in another game

Put one in another game and it continued to blink. So they are all in the bin now. I did notice that they were all 3 led 47's and the one tested only had one out of the 3 lit
