Good progress mate. Interesting "mod" that renders the game useless and a 6V drop across a fuse - funny stuff  %.%

HA!!! I dont roll over for any machine....

Found that damn fault!

I took all the lamps out and disconnected the new wiring for the bulbs. I put the bulbs in one by one.. all was good over the score reels.
I inadvertently left a bulb in the top section that i had disconnected, which didnt matter as there was no power going through this circuit.
See here... wires off!

Funny thing is though that the bulb was dimly lit    !@# !@#

Then i found the short by following the power line.

Behind the Jones plug, someone had been at a lamp socket and had lifted the staple that holds it down.. it was just about touching a  ground

This meant i had 2 grounds which as we know are not zero volts, but more like 30V.

Well.... sorted out this area and machine now holds itself. I have 1 relay that will not behave itself... with the PF down i can hear it going click click at start up which prevents it going full cycle... lift PF 6 inches and it stops...GGGGRRRRRRRR!... Or.... hit PF with fist and it stops.
I know which relay it is and its the worst one to get to.. typical.

But...... all major problems solved!!!!
