Have stumbled upon this fine site after recently rekindling my love affair with the pinball thanks to a local supplier of pinballs and other arcade games opening up his shop for friday night lock ins
Grew up like most, nagging the olds for some money when waiting at the fish n chip shop or at the footy club after training.
The Simpsons was the 1st machine i really sort of mastered as a 12-13 yo and got hooked on the sound of the replay 'pop'...
didnt get to play much as a high school kid as they started closing the Timezones etc but when the footy club got a Judge Dredd machine in, I loved the fact that i owned every High Score on it... it got to the point where the replay score was so high that no one else could get near it... but that was about 5-6 years ago and had to settle for the odd game here and there until just recently when the lock ins started..
Have been loving the 3 or 4 hours on a Friday night with 10-15 pinballs to choose from.. The Getaway & Theatre of Magic my favourites at the moment.
Hopefully will take the plunge and by 1st machine for home in the next few months....
