Mounting Suggestions for GN'R Topper

I have had a GN'R topper for ages just lying on the top of my machine.  It's looks brand new but does not have the mounting brackets.  As far as I can tell you can't buy these separately so I was wondering if anyone has any good suggestions for mounting it.

The topper has unused holes in it for (I'm guessing) rivets to attach it to the proper brackets, so I could use those with what ever solution I come up with.  But I was wondering if anyone had encountered this and could suggest anything?

Yes topper has two mounting brackets and is riveted in and screwed to the wooden cabinet.

Can dig out my topper and take some pics of the brackets if you want

Thanks I know roughly what the proper ones look like as I used to have a topper with them but sold it for this one as it was in better condition.

I was just trying to work out what else I could attach it to.  Maybe I could just rivet it to an "L" shaped bracket which I can then screw into the top of the back box.

You'll be able to get an idea from the pics attached. If you need the measurements of the brackets just let me know.
