Good Friday - good stories
« on: March 29, 2013, 10:10:14 AM »
I few years ago I had a bad good friday as my timing belt broke in my Subaru snapped uinder the km duration period and ended costing me a new motor - a quick $5k (a nice pinball) to fix so now I get nervous every good friday.

But this morning was a great start to a good friday as played my Creature and achieved the multiball twice finding the creature both times and scoring jackpot both times and now finally got my name up as grand champion - 395,949,450 - a nice start to the day.

What good things happened to you today?

Funny Jady, had a couple of games on my Creature this morning and had one good game, found the creature and a couple of extra balls. My Creature was out of action for a few months with a broken kiss gate and pop bumper bracket. Forgot how great a game it is.

Subaru's are generally bullet proof, so surprised about your misfortune. Have only had Subaru's now for over 10 years.

Im on holidays at the moment so Fish and chips on the beach with the family and then go catch a few waves will be the order of the day. It's a beautiful summer day here at Batemans bay, I couldn't ask for more.

I woke up, my wife had decided to bring over 4 of her girlfriends, they all were going to get naked, and then said Happy Easter Bretty Boy !
(OK, that was obviously the dream, the reality was I got woken up by the screaming kids and jackshit happened.lol  %.% %.%)

Then, to make up for a crap morning, I got invited down to a friends fishing trawler, and was offered some Huge fresh Cooked prawns, so I am on my way out just for a quick drive, for something different.
Then I get to sit home all day, and laugh at the sword n sandal movies on TV which is always good for a laugh.  ^^^

Same here, never been let down by a Subi (and had our lives saved by one too).

Quiet Good Friday for me. Saw Paul Simon last night so got home late. My youngest's 9th birthday, so we've done the gift stuff this morning, and I just mowed the lawns.

Now off to conquer (or try to) Jurassic Park.

my previous mechanic decided to go for the cheaper belts and reason why it failed earlier than it was supposed to, bent all the con-rods and so on, so much can happen in a few seconds. But it's going like a dream the last 2 years and my wife's has been great and they do have a great reputation
