what were those plunger type target things known as, lick on Buck Rogers and a couple of baseball pinballs. They reminded me of the fair ground amusement park skill tester where you hit the pin with a hammer to see how high the disk would go up and try to hit the bell.
They frustrated me a lot if the flippers were too weak on a game.
I just wonder why designers don't use some of the older style devices that the mainstream player really enjoyed ie. inline targets that now have appeared on metallica. I just feel games for sometime have relied on the tried and true, 3 pop bumpers, ramps, stationary targets and maybe a toy or two. Don't you think a zipper flipper would be great and a breath of fresh air to a newbie? I can't remember playing a game with a zipper flipper and probably would get a buzz for sure
