Bally flipper buttons
« on: February 16, 2014, 09:12:21 AM »

I won't to change over a Bally elektra 1981 flipper buttons to clear ones. I found the code for Bally flippers of that year. And also found they make a few colours plus a red translucent ones. But not clear.

The end result I won't to have clear buttons so I can mount a led globe behind them. Then I can change the globe colour from time to time.

Can you change over the flipper buttons with these new type buttons Code A-16883-5.

Any advice out there. Am I just being silly and stick with what I have. (Red flipper)

See pics.

You can try using the different buttons, but you might find the nut will be too small and the button will move around. You can use the factory style with red or green Gottlieb translucent buttons, but I think you will have to enlarge the mounting plate hole for the button.

Yeah you are right checked for the gottlieb buttons not many in oz plus I can't find the clear back. Might leave this idea for another time. Don't wont to install a button which isn't correct. U hit the flipper buttons so much u need it right.
