Living the dream or wake up to yourself?
« on: June 11, 2014, 12:30:05 PM »
I usually don't post fluff like this, since the guy is obviously an attention whore, but it was in my "news"feed when I was checking my email so thought you might like a laugh.

Fiance leaves man after turning New York apartment into '80s arcade (and apparently the Ninja Turtles bedspread played no part in the decision.)  :lol

What a complete nut job. Oh well, looks like he will be "playing" PLAYER 1 games from now on.

Better filled with pinnies, but I can understand his passion. He enjoys the social aspect and that was/ his generation.
Anyone with a passion is cool in my world, albeit slightly warped  ^^^

So was that a spare bedroom or the bedroom he and the fiancee shared?? Bit confused as she gave permission for him to do this to 'his' room (not theirs)...

At US$34k I think he got a little ripped off, lol.. sorry couldn't help it.. nice man cave though..

Yepp, saw this this morning on tv.
How the hell do you spend $34k renovating one room  !@# !@#
And yeah it DOES look good though, but he should've added a pin or two  *%*

I think there can be a balance between the two. But turning the bedroom into the arcade was just asking for trouble. @.@

That guy posts on pinside under the username: Kaneda.

He also posts on a GN'R message board I frequent. You will notice the Use Your Illusion album covers in the background at the start of the interview.

What I don't get is why do that to your bedroom, why not another room in the house? As for the $35k cost surely it also included the games etc, but even then sounds expensive to me.

My bedroom has some of my lounge room suite in it as it won't fit in the lounge because of the pins... %.%

Buy a bigger house, then do a games room. 34k, decent deposit on a new place.

Reckon its a beef up.. its not the arcade machines at all that split up his relationship.. its the fact that the guy is a bit of a numpty and sleeps in a TMNT bed spread
