New item - Pinblades and Custom aprons
« on: July 11, 2014, 04:05:00 PM »
Have been released for both MM and AFM with more titles to follow in the future.

Not sure about the blades (I think the polished plain mirror metal sheets work better), but those aprons look fantastic especially AFM!

Pricing has just been release on these as well (US dollars.)

Pricing is as follows:

PinBlades alone: $75.00 (plus tax where applicable + shipping)

Aprons with Custom artwork: $129.00 (plus tax where applicable + shipping)

PinBlades and Aprons set: $192.00 (plus tax where applicable + shipping) You save $12.00 When purchasing as a set.

First come first serve basis. Please PM me through pinside for more information. These will be available through PinGraffix and Planetary Pinball Supply exclusively. We have a limited number of aprons available at this time. But we will have more to come on top of other designs as well.

Once again..want to thank all involved with this great project especially Rick and his crew over at PPS. We hope these bring you much joy and pleasure as we had designing and making them.

Happy flippin'

I'm not usually a fan of mods, but these look amazing.

That AFM apron looks sensational. I'd have to see the blades installed to make up my mind on those though.

Agree 100% on the apron,  I think the blades are not that good - I have the same street scape at the back, and couple with mirror blades the overall look is great. The blades would not flow well with the playfield artwork though I think.

Regarding the inner side artwork.

Anyone that wants to avoid the high cost of shipping the blade version can order a decal set which are very similar in design from pinballcentre in Germany.

Better title range, better price and you avoid the cost of oversized shipping a long blade - pinballcentre is just a decal which is sent rolled up.

I put a set of decals in when I restored my AFM, but thought it made the area look "boxed in", so covered them over with a set of plain polished mirror blades instead.

I see what you mean about boxed in but they don't look to bad. The polished blades do look a lot better though.
