Hey AP,  I've just noticed that an event listing on AP has been missed, .... Sorry bout the late notice folks but here's a heads up for The local meet of the year in Canberra.

Hello pinheads and Canberra VCP members,
I’ll host a night on 04 October at my place in the northern suburbs of Canberra with a few of Swampy’s great machines
The line-up will include:
1. Medieval Madness
2. White-water
3. The Getaway
4. Haunted House
5. Creature from the Black Lagoon
6. Dr Who
7. Indiana Jones (Williams)
8. Twilight Zone
9. Guns and Roses
10. The Shadow
11. The Simpson Pinball Party
12. Star Wars Episode 1
13. Revenge from Mars
14. Lord of the Rings LE
15. Fishtails
16. Sega Rally twin
17. 60 in 1 Cocktail arcade machine
18. MAME Arcade machine stand-up
19. Neo Geo Arcade machine (171 SNK games in one).
It will kick off at 1500 till late, hopefully James can run a competition ::cool
Let me know if you wish to attend as places will not be unlimited.
BYO snacks and beverages. I'll get some pizza in when it gets late.

Yo Canberrans!  the time is almost here for the local pinball event of the year.  Jules is kindly hosting what promises to be a great night. A stellar lineup of Pinball and Arcade machines is only gonna be surpassed by Jules own special brand jokes!
So let's here it VCP,  time to fly ya colours and get ready to party in the friendliest group in the ACT! BOOYAH!!!!!

I'll play your spot for you Andy. Just not sure how it will work in the final - I will be versing myself. How will I know which one of me is you? 

Oh, and you know that bottom mdf panel on Fishy's? Off to the hardware today.

I would look at a piece of ply rather than mdf. Mdf is a pain to get cut as most hardware places won't cut it, so you may end up having to buy more than you need, and then cut it at home.
Ply would still give a good finish if you sand it well

It was top fun Dan, Jules lead the fun and we had our first fem fatale winner-  Chrys! There was plenty of top notch pins, prizes, I think about 20 players, pizza and and a meat tray raffle. Thanks to Jules for a champion effort! Z
