INTEREST - SS felted leg protectors
« on: August 03, 2012, 09:35:53 PM »
I saw of a picture of a X-Men LE with SS leg protectors so got me wondering as an alternative product as I am aware there are lots of options out there - but why not one more.

Would you be interested in a set of regular 1mm SS leg protectors for around the $20 a set.

Difference being would be:
- I will provide them with felt installed
- I will provide sets that actually suit a Stern and then suit a Bally / WMS front and back as the current plastic ones well support the legs on the cabinet at the back but on the Sterns are too short for the front - my pet hate - sort of looks like half a job, but I know these are mass produced and universal.....
- These will extend about 10mm out from the legs to cover damage over the years.

Concept is to cover cabinet damage, tie in with the SS rails, and custom sized to suit your 90's Bally, WMS and 2000's Stern's with set front and backs all with felt installed for around the $20 - max $25 a set but will try for the lower.

If enough interest will consider a run, if not no worries just curious.

Also open to any other concepts for other SS parts for these era of machines

I would be interested in some sets 4 sure. Anything to suit AC/DC Pro would be good.

If u take some photos, when u are ready, that would be great.

More a thought at the moment but once I get the first run of mirror blades done I will do some proto-types and and show you guys.

Edit: 18-2-13 - apart from 4 guys and now not doing mirror blades I probably won't go down this road for a while unfortunately.
