Gottlieb System 1 chime sound problem
« on: August 26, 2014, 09:32:49 PM »
When I start a game on my Gottlieb Sinbad (which has the chimes), I get the 5 chimes when a coin is put in but then when I press the button to start the sound goes off. I dont get the 6 chimes to start and there is no noise throughout the  game. Any thoughts? Everything else is working as it should.

Yes, switch 20 is set to give chimes when scoring.

My reply is a bit late.......quite a bit....
Have you done a self test/diagnostics?
Does it have the correct PROM?
Are the plungers free to move in their sleeves?

Thanks for the reply, it was one of the plungers getting stuck in the rubber strip that had perished. I replaced it with a new strip and it's all good now.  ^^^
