I got very lucky with my phantom of the opera. Got it on Gumtree for $1200 fully working and in nice condition. There are bargains out there but you need to be very luck. I think that the ebay and Gumtree prices would scare most new comers away.

Absolute bargain!! Well done.
I enjoy Porsche, Gibson LPs, Bally-Williams & learning about pinball maintenance & restoration.

Bargain. $1200 is half price for sure.
Phantom Lit up in a dark room looks luxurious. The std Playfield lighting and the red glow is a nice look for sure if the original bulb colours have been left in.
The audio is also unique to say the least.
