SMD codes...so so painful!
« on: September 12, 2015, 10:33:01 AM »
Wonder if anyone here has a comprehensive SMD code book.
Im trying to find the value of an SMD diode marked S34B C2.
I believe the S34B part is a manufacturing code....C2 represents the value of the diode...possible Zener. There is also no orientation marked for Anode and cathode so im assuming that which way the code is read denotes banded and non banded sides.
Any help greatly appreciated..

Sometimes the simplest things take so long to achieve,,

C2 = diode
S = Schottky
3= 3A
4B=40V.

There's more surface area on this SMD component than a standard diode...im sure they do these things just to make life that little bit harder..

Knew you could do it.
If it isn't broke, it isn't pinball.
