PLAYBOY PROBLEM AGAIN

The 5amp fuse on the power board blew and the machine will not fire up,what could the problem be.?Thanks in advance guys.(1978 PLAYBOY)

Remove J1 and J3 from the rectifier board (unplug the game from the wall first) and see if the fuse still blows.

If the fuse doesn't blow the problem is further up the chain.

F4 on the rectifier board is the 43 VDC for the solenoids. Could be bad coil or coil diode.

If the fuse still blows with J1 and J3 removed then the bridge rectifier BR3 is shorted
