Shed is finished!

Next
I want to seal the concrete floor with a wetlook sealer. I bought some from Master on discount :)
Then i will run 10mm twin power and earth orange circular electrical cable. This will give me options for solar panels later. some trenching to be done , wire for lights and power points.

Some games have moved into the shed.  Joker Poker, Countdown, Centigrade 37 and Firepower.
Still have not run power. I am using an extention lead at the moment. I have bought the cable. Need conduit and trenching. Once the bank account is looking better this will get done soon i hope.
Picked up a cheap pub pool table late last year.

It has been nearly 12 months lots of delays.

Slab done, constuction started last week.




The construction should be done in a couple of weeks, then i will run electricity.
The shed is huge. (18x12m) ,I went with 3.6m walls. 20degree roof with peak height of 5.7m. On paper i didnt think it would be that big...
i may have over extended the budget .  Anyway cant wait for completion .

A couple of reasons.
First i didn't want it getting to hot during summer. The high roof helps with this.
Second i wanted the option to be able to put a mezzanine  level in later .

I was only ever going to do this once so i went big!

A great sized shed and although it looks like insulation between the frame and the roof sheeting are you concerned about the damp and cold affecting your machines internals or backglasses?


I am considering building a room within my shed for insulation reasons (in Victoria too) or have I just read too much crap about the cold.

So far no damp or condensation , the roof insulation does its job.
I summer the shed dis get hot at the peak of the day. But wasnt terrible.

I will see how winter goes. So far its been cold at night in the shed . Hence the patio heater in the shed .

Overall.
I think the machines will be ok.

The damp or moisture and extreme heat was my main concern.

Good thread. Any tips for coastal/beach pin locations? Salt air can't be good for any EM or SS pins.
