Gottlieb Rack a Ball 1962 (ready for the meet)
« on: September 28, 2009, 03:53:52 PM »
Just finished a full rebuild of Gottlieb's Rack a Ball from 1962. This game was a recent import from the US and had been in storage for a long time.

Well for a very first time a game fired straight up and no adjustments were needed (was very surprised)

She still needs a bit of work such as some playfield touchup between the flippers, the plastics are average at best (will attempt to make reproductions).

Really pushed for time with the meet in under 3 weeks so those 2 things will have to wait.

Game was fully pulled apart and rebuilt from the ground up (will repray cab another time) - the only change from the factory was putting in different coloured animation unit balls in the head (factory were just all red   ((( ) and also changed the 4 pop bumper caps to a different design. The design was originally the standard 10 points when lit but really liked these (for Roto Pool from 1958)
