Will have a better read of the other problems tonight and see if I can think of anything, having just done a crash course in troubleshooting.....

But first off - the loud noise at the back may be the knocker if there's one installed.  Just check that's not what it is.  Rookie error I made not so long ago

Thanks mate. I think it's at the stage of throwing a sheet over it and walking away. 

I might stick to playing pool, less problems. 

I did contact Tony ( P.S ) today, but he's off for a few days and has a few containers coming
in, so i expected he would be very busy at the moment. He did give me the contact details of someone
else, so i may have to go with that.

Glad to hear you got it sorted mate . Don't let these little things put you off the hobby . You'll soon learn your way around enough to fix most minor problems yourself .

A fews hours of non-stop bashing and you'll probably forget any problems.............
