HOWS THIS FOR A STUPID QUESTION

When I have a problem with a machine not starting I have the PF attached next to the machine. Question is how do you check everything when the PF is elevated in the machine. Doesnt the ball have to be in the outhole to complete the startup sequence, so how do you stop the ball from rolling down the other end  ^&^, dumb question i know but would like to check and activate everything elevated. Hope this makes sense.

If you buy yourself some aligator leads you simply short circuit any switches that should be closed whn the playfield is down  ^^^

Older games that just have a single rollover in the trough are easy - just reach up and press the leaf.
