System 11 Side Rails
« on: October 11, 2009, 07:20:33 PM »
Hi guys,

Well, up to my eyeballs in the Funhouse restoration.  I'm searching for a set of System 11 side rails..I've checked locally and cannot seem to find them.
Yep, I know FH is WPC, but the flyer has Sys 11 rails and I think they suit the game much better and I've seen another one done with them and they look they part.  But I'm not spending big $$ importing some so I'll try otherwise WPC rails it is!..

If anyone can help please let me know.

Thanks

I've found a set in Germany but I think shipping (even if they do) may be a killer.  Anyone have any other leads?

How different are they to a WPC side rail?

You could get some made easy enough from a sheetmetal shop.

A little bit taller (if that makes sense).  My Police Force has them...I am waiting on a shipping price but if not I'll get some measurements.

No the originals are staying on the Police Force.  I was planning to put them on the Funhouse.

Most - if not all FH's have the later WPC rails, as its a WPC game (except for the proto's).  The game flyer is pictured with Sys11 rails and I've seen a couple of resto's with the Sys11 rails and they look 1000% better on the cabinet.

If its going to cost me $100's to ship then I'll cancel the plan and stick to the wpc rails.

I've ordered a set from O/S.  Shipping was lots but I really want Sys11 rails on it!
