Been away with work again.......
The problem is in the display itself - I did change the display over to another one as soon as it dropped out.
I will chase up the chip and see how I go, that link to Jaycar didn't work for me. Does anyone have a pic of what I am actually looking for (the connector pins didn't look that great so the fewer times I pull it of and put it back on the better).
I've got machines dropping all over the place at the moment, just little niggly things but a real pain in the butt.
