Old school Arcade
« on: January 06, 2010, 05:44:03 PM »
Well over the weeks leading up until Xmas I have been busy building/restoring a 20" Lowboy arcade cabinet.

Have to amit this I really enjoyed this resto, the kids just love this cabinet as well, and it got a thrashing over the xmas new years period as it rained during most of this time.

I installed a 60 in 1 multi board as they were the same price as a 48 in 1. Cabinet still has 40c per play coin mech credit set up, and the kids really enjoy the coins, I have a small bowl holding about $12 in 20c coins, the kids stack them up on the glass.

I have to say thanks to mike (pinmadd) kiwi pinhead who assisted with some wiring issues, thanks mate, next time I'm back in NZ I'll shout ya a beer or ten.  $&&

These multi cabs really compliment any Aussie Pinball games room  ^^^

I've attached some pics of my machines currently set up in my office at home.
Pinballs in my collection Elvira, Stern Grand Prix, Bally Corvette, Creature from the Black Lagoon, Judge Dredd, Black Rose and Data East Guns n Roses.

Yep, they are excellent!.  Take up bugger all floor space, and provide LOTS of fun.  ^^^

I have a Neo Geo set up and a Soul Calibur board that i swap the jamma harness onto and rotate the monitor for when my teenage nephews are around, as they prefer those over the vertical classics.

One day i'll get a Cocktail table to run the vertical games in permanently  *%*

Very cool ^^^
I notice some sort of toppers on your pins . . . .
Any chance you could snap these and add them to the "Toppers" thread?
Cheers
