Gottlieb Dragon Backglass Wanted
« on: September 17, 2010, 10:19:58 PM »
Hi Guys
I just picked up a Gottlieb Dragon SS, complete and in pretty good condition (considering it was stored outside), but one thing, the Backglass is very bad.
I would really like to resurrect this machine and even a high quality scan would be good so I could get a repro one made for the time being.
Ive attached some photos of the original glass, pretty bad.
Check out the damage to the display and lighting board, water got to it and has swelled it to double its normal thickness.
Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers
Boots

I have a really nice Dragon backglass - I don't have a scanner. I could borrow a scanner and have it for you within the next fortnight ?

I have never played the game myself, but I do like the look of the backglass.
Why do all women on pinball backglasses have big boobs?
hehehe

One of the funniest is the WH20 backglass, everyone else in the raft is wearing a life jacket except the girl (didn't want to cover her up

I recall hearing 'somewhere' that it originally started as a way of publicly showing off boobies and lady bits in times when society was a lot less acceptable of public images like that......and just evolved from that starting point - unsure how much truth is in that but it makes some sense I guess.

Oh - and THANK THE LORD that they did  #*# *)* BOOBIES  *)* #*#

I know a guy who had a good one a while back but he wouldn't sell it to me I only wanted it for my wall.   Maybe he will sell to save a machine.  I'll see if I can get in touch with him
