Those who know me know that I usually stick to EMs as the more modern machines confuse me (that is anything without a simple instruction card on the apron).
Last night I am at Epping RSL and there is a Batman Forever (I think) with a couple of credits on it as the mechanic had just finished fixing it. It is a 5 ball game with a replay at 37 million. At the end of ball 4 I had 4 million.
On ball 5 (including a shoot again) I scored 33 million on that ball alone - multiballs everywhere, absolutely no idea what I was shooting for, just keeping balls in play, having them do a loop that came back onto the right flipper, hitting a ball suspended on a crane ... who knows what else was happening!
Got a replay then walked away - would never be able to play a last ball like that again. Anyone watching that last ball (unfortunately no witnesses) would have thought I was some sort of pinball wizard. What I was in fact doing was flipping anything that came near the flippers with no strategy, but it came off.
Has anyone else ever had that sort of expereince with a last ball?
