Bit of a find on vinyl - Johnny O'Keefe SHOUT
« on: September 22, 2010, 09:57:59 PM »
I took Mrs Bossninja for a drive a couple of weekends back and stopped at Oberon, NSW. Went into a secondhand store and found this little beauty - a 45 record on the Leedon (Lee Gordon) label of Johnny O'Keefe's "Shout" ( for the young see
).
Still in the paper sleeve. Put in in a frame and now on my wall.
I saw Johnny towards the end of his career at the Coogee Bay Oceanic Hotel. Top show from an Aussie legend.
Wanted: GTB Aquarius backglass. Any playfield bits and backglasses from any EMs - nothing is junk to me.

Great score mate.
Love the idea of putting it in a frame.
Mrs 48 has a signed album of his in the collection somewhere.
You realise now I might have to steal your framing idea, hope its not patented!
Lets go Brandon!

Frame cost me $2 at King Kong Discounts, did a Google search for image of JOK, did myself up a title page, and Bobs your uncle!
I was pretty pleased with it - might do the same with my Russell Morris 45 of The Real Thing.
