thanks guys  ^^^ ^^^

Daniel, KISS is jumping the queue ahead of four other machines *%* *%* being the machine i most wanted, and i have sorted out all of the main problems it had. it will soon be torn down for the resto, starting with the PF, and will be doing a couple of cab repaints on two other games at the same time.. well thats the plan anyway %.% %.% we'll see how it all pans out i guess

Looks great!
It does raise some questions for me and the answers may help me with my newbie Bally Star Trek resto. I hope you or other members can answer these questions.
I am killng myself trying to match the red on the playfield (using waterbased acrylic), only to read you're grabbing cans of spraypaint from SuperCheap! Can I take from this that you are going with a colour that closely matches the original then covering the whole area for consistency?
Primer filler...what exactly is this? The name is pretty self explanatory, but where do you get it and what are common brand names.
These are sure to be dumb questions, but I don't know the answers!
Thanks

Hi, yeah pretty much what i do is pick a close matching colour (but NOT exact usually) and repaint the whole area of colour rather than trying to blend it in. The orange i used on this pf was a VERY good match, but i redid whole areas of that colour anyway to keep it consistent.

The pic below shows some of the brands of paint i have used, these are brands/colours i used on my Stern Dracula restore. I chose this pic to post as it shows the primer filler i used on that pf, as an example.
