Zaccaria Gen1 pwr sup HV transistor???
« on: August 05, 2011, 02:08:10 AM »
Hi guys,
can some one tell me what transistor is used on a Zaccaria Gen1 pwr sup (HV section) ?
The schematic says that Q3 is a 2N3584, but the 2N3584 comes in a TO-66 package  and the one that is on the power supply is a TO-220 style.

I can't make out the number on the transistor that is on the board, and I have lost my notes on the last one i rebuilt  !@)

I found great plains stock the 2N3584 transistor but i would like to find out what the transistor is that is on the board, it looks it has the original solder on the legs.

Thanks guys.

Doing a quick search it seems some have replaced the 2N3584, with a BUX84 To-220 package.
