Hi All,
I am new to the world of old EM pinballs. Just purchased my first one, been playing for the last week through a few cycles to look for what may be needed to be repaired.
My Machine is a late 70's Gottlieb EM. One thing I noticed is that when I hit the ball with the right hand flipper, the flipper gets push backwards behind it's normal resting position. If I hit the button once more, after the ball has been hit, it resets itself to the proper stop. Any ideas? sounds like something loose or broken.
How much hum should you hear when you push/hold the flippers momentarily?
So far the flipper issue and the fact my match unit is stuck seems to be the only issues. I have had it continuously count 100's (until I switched it off) twice so far. Not sure if it is going to be an issue or a result of the game not being played much for a few years.
Thanks
