System 80s have no free play option.   There are a couple of ways around this.

1 .   Make the first replay score as low as possible and worth as many credits possible

2. Add an extra switch to the start button so pushing it starts a game and adds a credit.

There are other options but that involves hacking slightly not recommended specially on a rocky

im not keen on hacking it up as i understand its a "rare" game and i belive it should stay as close to factory as possible! do you know how i would go about setting the replay score? i have read my manual i have for this game and i cant find any mention of how to set this up!

Thanks

Adding the switch into the start button stack is not considered a "hack", it's an accepted mod and if done neatly is quite useful.

Having said that, I use the technique off a low initial replay on Black Hole, just high enough to make me feel bad if I don't score an extra game. I can check a manual tomorrow and post what to do for that as I can't recall off the top of my head, someone else might post in the meantime.

I thought about adding the switch at the front but its the type of thing once done its hard to undo, and in time i may grow to regret it, so i think i will stick to the low replay score for now, i can always change my mind later on down the track :)

If you can find/tell me how to do it it would be fantastic !

Thanks

Ah, no no are not adding a switch *button*, just a switch stack that is activated by the game start button.

Attached explains it.

Here's how to adjust the reply levels

Open the door and flick the coin switch multiple times.
