Pinball album/CD artwork
« on: February 12, 2011, 09:35:30 PM »
So a musician named Stewart 'Leadfinger' Cunningham contacts me and asks if he and his hot new band 'Leadfinger' can get some pics and video footage of my pins.. I told him to contact Tony Steelers for photos, but he wanted late 70's pins. Cunningham is a pinball fan, and not a bad pin player either. These guys are one of the better bands in Australia ATM, so I'm stoked to be a part of things.

I've been a fan of this guys work for near 20 years, and he's known as an underground legend around the world, playing in great Oz bands such as Asteroid B-612, Brother Brick, The Yes-Men, Challenger 7, Proton Energy Pills. He has recorded albums that have been released on various labels in Europe and America.

Anyway he sends me artwork for his new album which will be released soon in Australia by Impedance records, and in in Europe by Spanish label Bang! records. It will be released on CD and Vinyl. A video clip will be released too.

Now I wasn't sure if they were going to use any of the photos with pins at all, but, check it out......

Nice! Great to see pinball exposed to other markets, good stuff.

I remember the live scene in my younger days - a pinball in the corner of every venue.

Awesome artwork !

Yep I think that's the type of message Leadfinger are trying to put across, and all pinball machines just look too cool in photos, kinda like classic cars etc.

BTW it's a CRACKER of an album ^^^

I just ordered one of Lead Finger's awesome looking tee-shirts (see pic)
And had look at the rest of their website - it's cool.
There are 3 vids on it, one titled Fourteen which features Braddo's pinballs.
Really worth a dekko - I'm too dumb to post the you tube vid here, so maybe someone else could oblige!
