Can anyone help with a few measurements for a AFM
« on: March 01, 2012, 09:08:32 PM »
I scored a AFM art file and want to scale it up and was wondering does anyone have a blank playfield to get me a few measurements or can you measure off your populated playfield the following:

Unpopulated playfield:
centre of the top slingshot screw graphic
Centre of the bottom slingshot screw graphic
measurement of the width of the playfield
measurement of the length of the playfield
measurement from the bottom of the playfield to the very first screen print graphic.

Populated playfield:
centre of the top slingshot screw to screw (centre to centre)
Centre of the bottom slingshot screw to screw (centre to centre)
measurement of the width of the playfield
measurement of the length of the playfield
placement from the bottom may be hard......

any help would be much appreciated.

obviously as accurate as you can measure would be appreciated.

If you can wait until the weekend I am happy to brave the spiders and get my original one out of the garage and do those for you.

That would be awesome, just keen to clean up the art file then if ever I can help someone with graphics the favour could be returned - a bit of interest at the moment and practising on Iluustrator. I will send a full playfield screenshoot that you maybe can add some measurements to.

Unpopulated playfield:

centre of the top slingshot screw graphic - 294 mm
Centre of the bottom slingshot screw graphic - 221 mm
measurement of the width of the playfield - 514.5 mm (presumably 20 1/4 inch, which is 514.35 mm)
measurement of the length of the playfield - 1168.50 (presumably 46 inch, which is 1168.40 mm)
measurement from the bottom of the playfield to the very first screen print graphic. - 55 mm but a bit hard to be precise as the tip of the graphic is a little worn. Maybe some other reference points to match up would be useful.

Have fun!
