Here is one more for interest as the buzz of mirror blades is out there and this is a nice soft effect of mirror blades that are the black chrome type.

As well this machine has the wireforms in black, as well as the trim (side rails, lockdown bar) with the finishing touch being chrome UFO's.

Overall a nice restore.

I've always been a fan of good original condition pins
but these modded pins do look cool, still going to play
the same although a bit more eye candy which can come
down to personal taste

Thanks for the link Jady, always interested to see what people do to their games.

Exactly the same for me - I really like my games to overall be faithful to the original on the looks side. Better speakers, maybe a shaker motor for the right game - those appeal a bit, but I really prefer a close to factory look. Definitely a taste thing as plenty love the bling factor.

EDIT:
Just noticed you are in Holland so most of the info below will be redundant.

I talked about this product briefly in this thread:

Here is a cut and paste of what I wrote.

"Without going too far off topic you can go even fancier and get coloured mirror polished SS sheets from a place in Sydney called Rimex metals.

http://www.rimexmetals.com.au/StainlessSteelFinishes/ColouredMirrorsSatinsStainlessSteel.html#

I haven't got my measurements handy but you should be able to get half a dozen panels/blades/whatever you want to call them out of one coloured sheet.

They are not cheap though, the quote I got was $468 plus gst plus shipping (fragile and insured) for one coloured sheet. I couldn't find anywhere in SA which stocked it so abandoned the idea.

You can see an example of the black and gold coloured versions at the bottom of this page (note the price):
