I'd start by running a switch edge test from the diagnostics.

Activate the switches manually and keep an eye out for any single switch which registers multiple switch numbers.

Mate found this on Rec pinball,

http://groups.google.com/group/rec.games.pinball/browse_thread/thread/ab49137e9d8bc97a

this is Exactly what mine does,Ive got to track down some of these resistor networks

Apparently F14 is Known for Switch matrix issues and blowing the resistor networks,

Also The System 11 Pinrepair Guide has a goood step by step guide to Diagnose and test Sys 11 Switch matrix issues..

Well done on the fix and thanks for the update.

Did you end up finding the part locally?

RS components for 1k x 9 network resistors,

had to buy minimum order of 25 tho..

10 pin, have to cut last one off so it doesnt earth whole network as per the Pinrepair guide,

and the board has to have installed C49-56 which were optional on Sys 11-11A (mine had them already)

Pm me if you want a couple ^^^
