Not to sound prematurely jaded and bitter but it feels like no decent movies have come out in a long time.
Depends what you call decent - Avengers was great entertainment. And I'm holding out for Prometheus in a couple of weeks.
Bring on Prometheus, it is going to be a beauty! Avengers is the blockbuster of the yr but this is going to to be THE film of 2012. I am seeing that next Thurs morning at a media screening and I cant wait.
Also the Dark Knight Returns and Spiderman are comming up, they will both do well and look like great films too.
