Hello all!I am new here my name is Stephane i am 43 years old from Montreal Quebec Canada.
i have the problem Ground short row-1 and row 2 on my TOM.
Ground short row-1 white and brown
Ground short row-2 white and red
I have yet changed on my wpc security board U18 and U20.
I just looked in my manual book and on page 1-40ground short row 1 and 2 error message
it says:
this message indicates that the switch wires beeing called out are touching a grounded part
on the playfield or coin door.
1.slam tilt (or other coin door)switch touching the grounded coin door
2.a leaf-type playfield switch touching a ground part.
3.players poking metallic objects (wires coat hanger, ect)into the game
4.switch cable insulation pearced or damage allowing bare wire contact with a ground part
5.all switch in a row closing at the same time.Note this instance is not a switch problem or rare possibility.
The time i had that error was when LOCK BALL 2 stopped working and when i looked
at the switch (LOCK BALL 2) it was loose so the Pinball was off when i took a knife
and peeled the wire then i slodier it back on the switch...i also at same time did some work
on my coin door...then when i started the Pin it gave me the ground short error.
so like i said i changed on my WPC-S board U18 and U20.
Still get the same error
What should i do next ? do you think that the error is in the board or should i look
at the wires and the board is not really affected ?
Any help is appreciated!
Thanks a lot
