60hz convertor for imported USA Sterns
« on: October 10, 2012, 09:06:15 PM »
Saw this on, are they any good?

Are they worth the money with cost of importing a USA machine?

WOW - $300 for a $2 PIC chip and $20 worth of other parts - not bad if you can get it I guess.......

I'm certain it would work - I have looked at doing something like this myself but I don't have a 60Hz machine to test things on...it 'should' sell for around the $50~80 mark IMO.

there are cheaper ways around it, the only problem is getting a copy of the proper software to do it.

yes, this board is way to expensive.
