Another WH20 Problem with lighting...
« on: December 20, 2012, 01:35:36 AM »
Hello again, having some more problems involving lighting in WH20, I recently got the topper lights working thanks to you guys. But now its gone to the next level with all the flasher lights on the playfield and in the backbox no longer working also the topper lights have stopped.
Is their a common point that these all run off? all the fuses are fine and the game plays fine its just the flasher lights on the playfield, backbox and topper lights are dead

any ideas on what would be a good starting point?

Cheers guys

Measure all power supply points - one has to be missing.

Probably burnt connectors along the edge of the main driver board - VERY common.
Replacement Pinball PCBs that remain faithful to the originals

Check the fuses in the backbox as well.

Turns out i must be going blind ><
It was just a blown fuse, I cannot believe how many fuses their are in this machine! something like 26??!

I'm looking at changing out all the globes for LED's, less heat and such
would you guys recomend http://www.marcospecialties.com/pinball-parts/05-1845 ?
