2" Flipper parts

Hi Guys,

Does anyone know where I can find/buy this part of the assembly for a 2" flipper.



It's off my Bally Flash Gordon and its a different assembly component to the other flippers on this game. I had actually brought standard flipper kits to suit this game which was no problem on the other two flippers.

As this flipper setup doesn't appear in the 1980-1 parts catalog which is relevant to this game, I've just been thinking that maybe this isn't the correct assembly and instead it should be the same as the other two flippers. Anybody know?

I remembered I have the 1980-81 parts catalogue which has the flipper assembly, so I will scan at work and post within the next hour and that part does not match what's listed in the book. Though in saying that the flipper assemblies of 1980 were commonly retro fitted with the next generation kits as this particular one was not as good.

PBR have the flipper kits for this era as the Skateball I had had this era. The parts catalogue covers the Flash Gordon as well. All four of the flippers were of the style in the parts book.

It might be a bit of a PITA but can you try one of the other flipper mechs in that spot to see if it fits and works OK?

Thanks for that. Those are the ones I brought to rebuild all three of the flippers on the game. I don't see why it wouldn't work on the 2" flipper as well so I'll fit it and see what happens. The more I think about it the more I think that somewhere in this machines life, someone just made do with the parts they had. Funny thing is, this flipper operated better than the other two and possibly doesn't even need a rebuild but nows the time to do it while the games in pieces.
