Was down the coast on the week-end and all of these games need servicing.
Transformers played the best out of all of them.
Avengers is a real dog a game, what a dead set boat anchor.

Agreed, Timezone need to pull there finger out and service machines better. Worst operators for pinball ever.
Teach the pimple headed numb nuts to remove the glass and at least give it a wipe?  &^&  basic shit that a peanut can do.
I don't normally get frazzled but this is the real the killer of main stream pinball in my opinion.
Piss off the all the poxy redemption games and put in some OLDSKOOL arcade games at the very least.
I hope Timezone corporates read this somehow and take heed. They are banned form my $ until something changes

If it isn't broke, it isn't pinball.

The pf's on all games are filthy!
The flippers on all games are weak as piss!
Screws were comming loose and rolling down the pf on a couple of the games while we were playing them, I asked the staff if they could fix it and was told there is nothing they can do.
Wow what a joke, they will not be getting any more patronage from me they can get stuffed.

My experiences with Timezone vary but unfortunatly more oftern than not you guys are spot on with the condition descriptions. I guess with that in mind it'll be interesting to see what sort of player the machine at Supernova is.

Well I went to Supernova today and I feel like I've been waiting in a line for most of it. Anyway it's all worth it now I've managed to get Sam Jones ( Flash Gordon) autograph on the apron decal I intend using on my Flash Gordon machine. I also had him sign one of my Flyers as well just for good measure. Unfortunately didn't get the photo with him though. By the time I'd lined up for an hour to get in, then another 1.5hrs to buy the tokens for the autographs, then more time and hrs for Sam Jones and Ray Park's (Darth Maul) autographs I really couldn't have dealt with another line today.
What a huge event though! I'd never heard of it a week ago and thanks to Cursed's tip my Son and I had a really cool time along with with tens of thousands of others.

Your welcome mate.

That apron decal looks awesome! Great idea getting that signed, i really like it. Was he surprised to be signing that? Or did he not have time to be surprised?  %.%

Most people in his line had the stock standard pictures they give you when you pay for the autographs, so yes he was a little surprised. He said "woh what have you got here". Then  when I explained he didn't have to much to say though, just "cool", that was about it. I guess they'd see all sorts of things people bring to have signed. The guy behind me in the Ray Park line had a life size Darth Maul on a trolley he was bringing in to be signed.

AMD and Timezones stand was very well presented and attended also. Lots of people playing the 3 X-Men LE's and 3 Avengers Pro's
all day.

Under 25's could enter the comp to win a machine. The rest of us just had free games.

I was unaware of it before but just looking on line it appears to have been running for acouple of years in Australia so I imagine it'll be back again next year. If you have a look at the web site http://www.supanova.com.au/ Melbourne is just the start in oz, this year it's also on in the Gold Coast, Sydney, Perth, Brisbane and Adelaide.
Do I think it was worth the hassle? Yes, I'd do I again, my son loved it! Only things I'd do differently is get there a lot earlier and run to the token stand as soon as I got in the door. This would of saved a lot of waiting around I reckon.
I'm not sure what sort of numbers they get to these things but if someone said close to 100,000 I'd believe them. It was huge.

By tokens I assume you have to pay for an autograph.

What does an autograph cost? Do headliners charge more for their John Hancock or is a flat fee for all?

Just curious.

EDIT:

Just found the fees breakdown.

Yeah, as you have found tree all different and the obviously the que's are all different lengths also. That's why it can be a bit frustrating. I could see Sam Jones line with no more that 4 or 5 at any one time but The Hoff and Barbara Eden had huge line ups all day so effectively I'm lining up with all the people to see the Hoff before I could go and get Sam's autograph.
I thought that perhaps people paying for an autograph may cut the lines down abit but I tell you people were happy to spend. Barbara Eden's people were selling replica Jenie bottles ($300 each) that you could have signed and I didn't see many people walk away from her without one.

There are a few events like this through out the year, Supanova and Comiccon come to mind. I think there may be one or 2 more as well.

These are VERY popular crowd wise and it is always a long wait to get in or anything signed. But it is worth it! Especially if there is someone in particular you want to see. not sure if Arnie would end up at one of these but its possible.
