I hope all the legal stuff goes well for you mate. Sure would hurt what your ex employer has done. Fingers crossed for ya.
Ironically if you win against them you never know ( they might have just been able to increase your pin collection not decrease it) #*#
I'm not cranky, I just want MORE pins!

Good, take this all the way swinks, you have a strong argument.
The compensation may not be huge but at least they will not have gotten away with treating people like that.

Not good at all mate, bitter-sweet says it all. You are under tremendous stress right now and need to be strong. Good news has to be there around the corner. I always take my Mum's advice to live one day at a time and make most of the life you have. She had leukemia in 1992, had a bone marrow transplant after going through hell with chemo but the good news is that she is alive and well at the age of 74.
Please be positive and supportive.

Thinking of you mate.  No words can make things better right now for you.  Hold your head high and hang tough mate, something will have to come up for you soon.
Addicted to pins.

Hang in there Jady.

Doctors almost always give you the "worst case scenario", and it is never good to hear, but hey need to cover their asses if they are wrong. So as far as they are concerned, every tumor is "life threatening".

My Uncle had brain tumors and had extensive surgery. Doctors told him that he had 6 weeks to live. Ten years later, he was still doing well. My Sister in law was diagnosed with breast cancer last November. Surgery, chemo and radiation therapy and she is going very very well.

Be positive. It is hard, but support is important.

thanks everyone for the positive thoughts and well wishes, not to suck the mood, but my mother in law has confirmed multiple cancers in breast, spine and glands so not looking good, waiting on treatment options and how long she has. Such a shame as she is a really lovely woman, a very giving person and my wife is shattered which is so hard for me as not alot I can do except be there. Though my mother in law is the most positive person and helping everyone else - amazes me.

as for job prospects - none at the moment

positive thing is I can be there for my wife and kids at the moment and puts everything into perspective, pinballs etc are nice but not important in comparison to family and good friends.

as for pins, IM has left, Baywatch up and am using Creech to document some 3D designs for some future concept pinball designs that I am going to tinker with and then to a new owner that has been kind enough to help me out to hold for a little while.

No need for comments, just wanted to sum up and will let people know when things look up......  Go and enjoy your pinball.
