Latest addition. Mechanical coin counter
« on: July 06, 2013, 09:20:38 PM »
Hey guys just having a play with my latest addition as some of you may know I love my mechanical coin op gear so I had to have this when I seem it.  From what I can find its a 1965 icc coin counter partially works but needs plenty of love.

Has anyone ever used one of these? Would love some background or tips on all the levers etc

I remember seeing the operator at a caravan park in rosebud back in the 80s using one of those.   I remember being paid in 20c pieces with a black X in text a for sweeping the games room floor each morning...

Yep was looking for one of these as well  *.* you do like collecting mate. I can't wait for those yanky pickers to show up at your place in 30years time. There's Daniel playing his banjo, sucking on a Bundy, no teeth. Yep can see it clearly in my head. Will make a great episode.

The "X" denotes that the coin "belongs" to the operator. It other words, he paid you with money he was getting back anyway  :D
