Repin the connector. Here are the pins and associated parts. You can re use the connector housing. If the connector on the board has any corrosion, then you will need to attend to that as well.

You will also require a crimper that is usually only found overseas

1026-CT or 1028-CT can be used. I have a 1028-CT that I use for all crimping (.100, .156, .093 & .062)

sorry nino but looked at the site and it stated the 126 does them all and the 1028 doesn't do 0.062. pls comfirm for rustalan so he doesn't order the wrong one

I've used my 1028-CT for 10 years and it can do 0.062 - but it would be better to order the 1026-CT just in case.

So I'm guessing the cheap crimping tools (e.g. the standard $10 type from Bunnings) aren't any good for recrimping new connectors?  I ask this because I have this job ahead of me too.

Already tried Jamie not in stock. He sent me to a supplier but they have shut up shop. So I thought about a Stern project i have that has the plugs I need. I already have enough crimp pins.

I can tell you that you need the right tool. I tried with lots of hassles using small pliers and whatever else I could try attaching 2 wires to a .100 connector. I only have one of those yellow crimpers that do .156 no problems but destroys .100's. So invest in a tool first off.

Completed the plug with ltd success. Now find the 28 pin one is also giving drama's, maybe 1 or 2 others as well. Won't know till I do that one. The game is now mostly playable less 1 coil and 1 or 2 switches( including coin switches, these will work when wires at board wiggled) and a couple of strings of feature lights.
